Claire founded The Canine Clinic in 2020 after working in veterinary practice and specialist canine rehabilitation in Ireland and overseas.

Her calm, intuitive handling and interest in movement, recovery and long-term wellbeing help her build practical plans around each dog and family.

Leonie is a registered veterinary nurse and qualified canine physiotherapist with specialist training in rehabilitation and hydrotherapy. Her veterinary-hospital work brings valuable surgical and orthopaedic experience.

Calm and patient-led, she gives dogs time to settle and families clear guidance through recovery.

Amy qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2019 and canine hydrotherapist in 2023, completing her training at The Canine Clinic.

Her veterinary nursing experience informs calm, tailored hydrotherapy that helps dogs rebuild strength, comfort and confidence.

Sarah qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2015 and canine hydrotherapist in 2024. Her work at Abbeyville Veterinary Hospital brings experience with surgical and orthopaedic patients.

She helps owners understand and take an active part in their dog’s recovery.

Emer has almost 14 years of grooming experience and QQI Level 5 and 6 qualifications in Animal Husbandry and Dog Grooming from St. John’s Central College, Cork.

Her calm handling and understanding of skin, coat and individual needs put comfort and trust first.

Ellen’s calm, caring nature creates a positive grooming experience from the moment each dog arrives. She brings patience and attention to every full groom or pamper session, helping dogs feel safe and settled.

Ellen is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
